TheSenior Financial Analyst- FP&Arequires an energetic individual with a demonstrated ability to make key contributions in the analysis of financial and strategic issues. The new position will support Product Reporting and will be responsible for building and developing the models, tools and mechanisms necessary to address business opportunities, drive automation, improve internal controls. This role will be a strategic partner to the business in evaluating the economics of complex metrics as well as assisting in operational processes, business expansion and support planning/forecasting. Used in more than 185 countries, the Zscaler multi-tenant, distributed security cloud protects thousands of customers from cyberattacks and data loss, enabling customers to embrace the agility, speed, and cost containment of the cloud—securely.Responsibilities/What You’ll DoDevelop product and pricing performance financial models to enable extended teams to make decision related to profitability, discounting trends, competitiveness, and pricing effectiveness.Develop and prepare month-end performance presentation, quarterly business review (QBR), understand detailed data and create a cohesive story based on key product performance drivers to communicate to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.Provide and present meaningful, concise, and clear financial analysis, including variance analysis to senior management on financial issues and performance (actual versus budget/forecast/prior quarter/prior year etc).Develop business modelling, operational and financial processes, partnering closely with the business systems team, to identify key areas of improvement for maximum efficiency.Analyze drivers of month-end variances vs. budgets and drive accountability around cost saving initiatives.Partner with cross functional business leads on forecast expectations and develop strategies to maximize profitability to ensure financial targets are achieved.Quantify the financial impact of risks & opportunities and develop action plans to mitigate risks and realize opportunities.Execute financial rhythm of month-end close and review P&L to support the close process.Create insightful presentations that include findings from deep dive analyses and actionable recommendations that propel the business forward.Various ad-hoc analysis and process improvement projects to drive efficiency and scale.Qualifications/Your BackgroundCA or MBA Finance with Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient with salesforce, Adaptive insights, NetSuite, Tableau, Exactly, Clari and/or other comparable software systems.Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills including a solid understanding of financial concepts and application.Ability to effectively articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendationsA self-starter, who proactively converts gaps into opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication & data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.Advanced Microsoft Office Excel / PowerPoint and financial modelling skills.Flexibility to work U.S. time during the pick days of the quarterly/monthly reporting process.Strong team-player with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet function well with independent responsibilities.
