TheDeputy Manager India Compliance and Payrollwill report to the Senior Manager- India Compliance and Payrolland will be primarily responsible for handling all GL & Payroll related activities with Team including management of day-to-day operations. Join us and you, too, will have the opportunity to be a part of the excitement and contribute to Zscaler’ s growth and success in meaningful ways.Responsibilities/What You’ll DoPreparation of monthly payroll data, incorporating & reviewing of employees variable sheet, reaching out to Employees in case of variances and answering and resolving Employee queries.Meeting the Timelines and Deadlines for payment of statutory dues like PF, PT, TDS, ESI etcSound knowledge of Income tax rules and regulations for analysing and preparing data related to salary and other variable income.Timely filing of TDS, PT, ESI etc returns.Review of the Journal Entries and analysing expenses accounts.Effective understanding of Income tax laws related to salaries for conducting yearly investment proofs activity.Assisting in Month End Reconciliations.Assisting in documenting general and order specific terms.Assisting in the Statutory and tax audit and preparation of data accordingly.Special assignments as and when required by Head QuartersQualifications/Your BackgroundChartered Accountant with a minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience. Payroll and Taxation experience would be preferred.Well versed in MS office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).Flexibility and eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines (especially at quarter end);#LI-NT1
