If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.Manager- Asset ManagementJOB PURPOSE:The FA&T Process and Performance Manager identifies and leverages best practice across GBS to deliver positive outcomes on the operational and non-operational stage.Makes sure processes are standardized, harmonized, efficient and audit secure while on parallel people is equipped with support, training and information to deliver on their process.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibility for the reliability of the financial statements in his/her scope of responsibility in accordance with Bayer´s policies (BKA and BMA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and according to the country specific legislation and country specific tax compliant accounting treatment allowing a certification by external auditors.Drives & Coordinates topics functionally, working as lead for financial processes, supporting and empowering team members  in their work delivery and development.Lead global expert  community around process excellence in the relevant area. Evaluates reporting requirements from various functions in particular Accounting, Taxes, Controlling, Treasury and Auditors to calibrate cost, quality, compliance and time (output) across GBS locations.Partner with the Center of Expertise (CoE) and Global Process Governance (GPG) to ensure globally defined standards and activity splits, as well as liaise with the GBS network regarding R2R issues and to implement desired and necessary processes and changes.Ensures One face to stakeholder from GBS through stakeholder engagement framework to continuously manage relationship and expectations, and to drive satisfaction. Ensures operational effectiveness of the internal control system relevant to the preparation and presentation of the Financial Statements that are free from material misstatement in close cooperation with Global Finance Network, Outsourcing Provider, Legal Entity and Auditors.Be part of global and lead local projects, legal entities and system mergers, acquisitions or divestitures.Challenge Status quo on business requirements adding value through consultancy, solutions proposals and complexity reductions. Initiate and lead optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve quality and efficiency.Anticipate possible issues and pro-actively manage changes. Perform and use escalation management.Defines, monitors and steers performance excellence via KPIs.University degree preferable in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics or relevant degree.Finance, Accounting or Tax qualifications  as well as Project and Digital certifications definitely preferred.In-depth knowledge of the End-to-End ProcessProfound level of knowledge and understanding in accounting and financial reporting according to BKA and BMA, also considering International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and country specific legislations (local GAAP).Ability to build up trustful relationships.Hands-on management style.Good level of capability to facilitate and execute business model-, portfolio- (M&A, divestments) and IT changes to enable the strategies of divisions and functions and to ensure the integrity of the financial statements.Capability to develop alternative solutions to problems and handle complex problems independently.Experience in International process trainings, workshops and conferences organization.Strong self-motivation, Flexibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills - Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgement in making decisions.Analytical thinking and Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.Service-driven and customer-focused.WHO YOU ARE:In-depth knowledge of the End-to-End ProcessProfound level of knowledge and understanding in accounting and financial reporting according to BKA and BMA, also considering International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and country specific legislations (local GAAP).Ability to build up trustful relationships.Hands-on management style.Good level of capability to facilitate and execute business model-, portfolio- (M&A, divestments) and IT changes to enable the strategies of divisions and functions and to ensure the integrity of the financial statements.Capability to develop alternative solutions to problems and handle complex problems independently.Experience in International process trainings, workshops and conferences organization.Strong self-motivation, Flexibility, as well as the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills - Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and usage of sound judgement in making decisions.Analytical thinking and Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.Service-driven and customer-focused.Responsible for smaller project or initiative budget / business case.Other process specific magnitues to be defined:Person on this position will be responsible for review of Financial Reports (e.g. Balance Sheets, P&L, etc.), contact with auditors (incl. external), all topics related to taxes, etc. Net Sales figures around 200 mio EUR per year, Operating Expenses around 200mln EUR per year, EBIT 10 mio EUR per year in case of one Legal Entity.KEY WORKING RELATIONS:Senior Management, GBS Network, IT, External partners, Function Leads, GPO, SDM, OMs, Direct Reports, Process related stakeholders, Leadership team, Centre of Expertise, Human Resources, Auditors other Project Teams.Ever feel burnt out by bureaucracy?
