This role is located in Pune- HYBRID.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: This role requires leading team of 20+ members in Pune Performance, Client Reporting and Data Management teams. The Performance: Team is Responsible for calculating, identifying, and fixing any issue with the performance and attribution numbers and validating funds on system, answering any queries raised by other departments, setting up security and updating characteristics in data base (Team caters asset classes like Alternate investment, LDI and Fixed income, etc.)Client Reporting: Supports Bespoke reports, CIR, Factsheets and PCC. Bespoke report is an official document with standard or custom-made packs, Factsheet is a short and more customize view with the information a summary of information, which is uploaded on intranet and internet. PCC are reporting detailing performance, cost, and charges of the fund. Client investment reports are detailed reports with regards to the investment made under different strategies. MiFID  10% depreciation is a regulatory report performed daily to identify genuine breaches and further notification is provided to client based on the result in case a true breach.Data Management Office: The primary responsibility for the team includes running daily data quality checks, identify exceptions and initiating remediation pathways to resolve these inconsistencies by collaborating with various stakeholders.These Operations team are seeking to drive efficiencies across these functions by standardizing, automating, and providing self-serve solutions.Following are Key responsibilities:1) Day to day team management to ensure smooth BAU 2) Identifying and Implementing robust controls in process 3) Continuous upscaling of team 4) Stakeholder management and working as first point of contact for stakeholders 5) handling complex and critical BAU work The role is an opportunity to join a well-established, supportive operation function where the role holder can increase their knowledge of the firm and its investment strategies.   The proposed split is: - Process, People, stakeholder management                                                          30%Production and Review of critical and complex tasks                                           40%Compliance, Controls and Audit management                                                     15%Efficiencies and Upscaling                                                                                    15%Business expertise The role requires some experience of financial services and/or the asset management industry particularly investment capabilities.  This includes knowledge of investment lifecycle, demonstrate knowledge found in the middle-office, back-office, and client management roles. A basic understanding of fixed income is desirable. The person should have gained some experience with OTC and ETD derivatives such as swaps and futures The role requires excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Word and Excel in particular Interactions / Interpersonal SkillsThe role requires effective collaboration in Pune, with the Operations teams in London/NY/Boston and with our data vendor. The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, task driven and being quantitatively competent.Nature & Area of ImpactThe candidate should possess excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills, The role requires collaboration between several business units to maintain a high degree of analysis.
