Youensurethere is ahighly motivated,business value-focused,empowered,innovativeandcross-skilledteam inplacethat builds andmaintainsthe platforms.This team will be collaborating withOperating unit and Functions around the globein a Hub and Spokedeliverymodel where our(Hub)team owns the platforms,deliversenterprise gradeusecases,and enablesand supportsSpoketeamsdelivery of their specific use cases.Toensure we can deliver at scale this team worksclosely with the Product Owners,Architects, technicalleads,andour preferred technology partnersto ensureour platforms and servicesalign withindustry best practices,architecturalstrategies,and Medtronic's standards.A Day in the LifeRecruitsand growsthe best talent in the marketrelated toHyperautomation.Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.Provides tactical and / or operational leadership andcoaching.Managesdeliveryof initiativeswith anAgile mindset andframework.Understand and use standard tools, processes, designs, and methodologies forAgileproject management, documentation, system development, and implementation.Innovatesanddriveschange management - transforming theindividualautomationcapabilitiestowards asynergistic solution approach where the sum is greater thanitsparts. Pro-activelycollaborateswithCoPs/CoEs/PODsacross the globe to share best practicesandensures guidelines, guardrails are followed(Hub and Spoke model).Implementscontinuousimprovement mindset and methodologies to increaseplatformvalue, quality, stability.Ensures platforms are meetingService Level Agreements bycreating and implementingoperational processes and solutions to ensurehigh availability,quality,andcustomer satisfaction.Communicates with internal and external customers and vendorsregardingongoing operations.Decisions impact program schedules, levels, allocation of time, material resources,expenditures,and funds.Managesbudget forthe teamensuring adherence toAOP(?AnnualOperating Plan), suggests and implementscost efficiencies.Partner withthe broader Enterprise Architecture & Data Platforms organizationto analyze:Enterprise business drivers todeterminecorresponding change requirementsThe IT environment to detect criticaldeficiencies andrecommend broad-based solutions for improvement.Related technology industry and markettrends anddeterminetheir potential advantage to or impact.Works with and advises stakeholders, project teams, and peers in areas assigned on project needs and design.Partner with the Enterprise Project Management Office to ensure alignment and execution of plans with project deliveries.Ensure Medtronic's systems and information are protectedin accordance withMedtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards.Other duties & responsibilities aligning to Medtronic's culture include:Contribute to and cultivate a culture which promotes the development of business capabilities, process excellence, and shared best practiceexecution.Gather, review, assess and partner to driveinnovative ideas, initiatives and projects through innovation,demand,and global portfolioprocesses.Foster a positive,engaging,and challenging team-focused 'global' work environment to ensure high productivity, employee engagement, andoptimalperformance.Proactively engage with Medtronic business and Global IT partners toidentifyand define opportunities where the application of information technology can advance the strategic goals andobjectivesof MedtronicAct as role model by "living" anddemonstratingthe Medtronic Core competencies andvalues.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management.Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems.Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics.Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Work experience in the Medical Device Industry, or other regulated industryMust Have: Minimum Requirements7+ years of managerial experience, which includes goal settings and performance management.Excellent communication skillsThink out of the boxCreating an inspiring and diverse team environment with an open communication culture, setting clear team goals with ownership and accountability on deliverablesBuilding high performance, motivated and innovative team culture by leading with empathy.About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
