We do this through helping customers understand their mortgage options on their favourite comparison sites, and enabling them to apply for a mortgage directly with lenders or using a panel of mortgage brokers.Responsibilities: Develop application modules independently and fix any bugs promptly.Perform unit testing for the development work carried outAct as a mentor to the junior resources and provide technical guidance.Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.Conduct and participate in project planning & scheduling, design discussions, and provide assistance during testing.Remain up to date with the modern industry practices involved in designing & developing high-quality software.Ability to perform engineering and identify and fix bottlenecks.Must have:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer with expertise in React.js.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.In-depth understanding of React.js and its core principles.Familiarity with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.Familiarity with RESTful APIs.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.A solid understanding of the full web development process, including design, development, and deployment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice to have: Good grasp of UI / UX conceptsExperience in using Git & VSCode.Knowledge of AWS, Azure, CI / CD, Gitflow, shell scriptingAbility to build/own/maintain a comprehensive set of component libraries for a React JS UIAbility to design/develop for cross-browser/device compatibilityQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.At Blenheim Chalcot, we strive to create an environment where differences are not only accepted but greatly valued; where everyone can make the most of their capabilities and potential.
