The Events Performance Analyst is responsible for analysing event performance and the corresponding insight; this data will help transform the events team to be a more data driven organization. In addition, this role will interface with the CHQ Data and Analytics team to work thru requirements for event reports and dashboards in support of both the global team and local markets event analytics needs. The responsibilities of the Events Performance Analyst include, but are not limited to:Event pipeline analysis and insights for relevant Business Unit, Campaign, PLG, NCA stakeholdersDemand CIs, Signals, SQLs, SQL Revenue, Wins, and Win RevenueEvent analysis and insight to improve action and closure rates on all events; communicate best practices how to improve both action and closure ratesDeep dive on event performance of Tier 1 events, providing analysis and insight on the performance of the journey by analyzing: 1) roles in attendance, 2) impact of Top 1K accounts, PLG, NCA, and 3) elements within the journey that drive business results (demos, speaking engagements, 1:1)Provide insight and analysis of Flagship events (Think and TechXhange) about attendee registration and attendance to optimize both audience generation and event follow up (action, closure rates, business impact, etc)Partner with CHQ Data and Analytics team to provide data insights and analysis to optimize event investments.Skills:Motivation: Self-starter with a natural curiosity about the business impact of eventsCommunication: Strong communication skills to define requirements for reporting / dashboards and share insights & best practices; advise event professionals about event analytics and insightsEnvironment: Professional knowledge related to function and its processProblem Solving: The ability to approach problems logically and make informed recommendations based on dataAnalytical: Strong analytical capabilities and skills and the ability to leverage and learn tools; must be proficient in both excel, Tableau; ability to learn IBM tools such as EPM and ISCDelivery: Ability to prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
