This is a new opening for an experienced Manager to support the international markets for tax accounting, compliance & reporting at American Express. The successful candidate will gain experience covering a wide range of international jurisdictions supporting US GAAP tax provisioning, and liaising with a third party provider in connection with local statutory reporting and compliance responsibilities.Responsibilities:· Review of the returns for APAC markets for Direct and Indirect Taxes· Working collaboratively with the tax compliance outsource provider to support a range of international Markets for compliance and IFRS Process .· Handling the queries from various stakeholders relating to tax· Must have the ability to coordinate and work with cross-function teams· Preparation of RTC under usgaap for various International markets· Provide support on external audit requests· Oversight of related SOX compliance activities· Support in various projects and initiatives for compliance processes· Looking forward for the Automation opportunities in the existing processes andimproving themRequirements:· Certification(s) Required: CA is mandatory· 1-3 years of experience working on international tax and/or accounting matters· Big 4 experience a plus· Excellent MS Excel skills and good MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
