Structural Designer- Staadpro

Job Summary:As a Design Engineer specialising in STAADPRO within the PEB industry, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of our Pre-Engineered Buildings. Leveraging your expertise in STAADPRO, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the structural integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our designs with industry standards and codes.Key Responsibilities:Utilise STAAD PRO software for the structural design and analysis of Pre-Engineered Buildings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate closely with the sales and project management teams to understand client requirements and project specifications.Develop comprehensive design drawings, calculations, and specifications using STAAD PRO and other relevant design tools.Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings, ensuring alignment with design specifications.Provide technical support during client presentations and discussions, explaining design concepts and addressing queries related to STAAD PRO analysis.Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural engineering, particularly those related to STAAD PRO, and incorporate best practices into the design process.Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project conditions and provide on-site engineering support.Collaborate with other Design Engineers to share knowledge and foster continuous improvement in design methodologies.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.Proven experience as a Design Engineer in the PEB industry with a specific focus on utilising STAAD PRO software.Proficiency in structural design software, including STAAD PRO, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar tools.In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in the design process.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Familiarity with AutoCAD and other drafting software is desirable.
