Software Engineer - TreasuryThe Treasury function at Millennium covers a number of areas including:Cash and collateral management (incl. liquidity mgmt., FX hedging)Equity financingCounterparty riskMarginWe are looking for a candidate to join the Treasury team working to provide quick, flexible IT solutions for data capture & analysis, data modeling & optimization across workflows, and interactive reporting/presentation across all Treasury functions.The individual will sit directly within the Treasury organizationbut will interact extensively with our IT colleagues to ensure best practices and drive strategic deliverables. The individual should be a self-starter who can operate both independently and within the broader Treasury team. Several of the responsibilities of the role in the near/medium term are:Work across the global Treasury and Technology organizations to solve business problemsFace off to global Treasury stakeholders to drive requirements and manage short-term, agile deliverablesOwn prototyping and specification definition to productionize tools & drive long-term strategic IT solutionsQualifications/Skills Required:Bachelor's degree3-5 years of experience working in Technology3-5 years of hands-on programming experience with an understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design patterns, Service Oriented Architecture, Concurrency, and SOLID principalsHands-on Front-End development experience with Angular 6+Hands-on C#/.NET experienceHands-on experience with PythonExperience with enterprise databasesExperience working with continuous delivery toolsGood problem solving and analytic skills, creative thinking to produce results with minimum requirementProven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; self-starter, energetic, independent work ethic w/ strong written and verbal communication skillsOptional Experience:Treasury business experience/knowledge (Cash & Collateral Mgt. / Prime Brokerage /Margin / Stock Loan)Relevant experience working in FinTech; understanding of financial products (Equity, FI, Futures, OTC, FX, etc) and familiarity with Capital Markets conceptsExperience with optimization modeling: objective function, constraint and variable definition; familiarity with linear programming concepts and software solutionsExperience building/enhancing SDLC and Agile development methodologies
