HIRING FOR ADOBEResponsibilities:- Ensure optimal uptime and Quality of Service (QoS) for Adobe's customers by implementing operational best practices.- Collaborate closely with product teams to foster partnership and streamline operations.- Identify opportunities to enhance service resiliency through methods like chaos engineering and performance/load testing.- Maintain and support globally distributed, multi-cloud environments, both public and private.- Automate routine tasks at scale to improve operational efficiency.- Design and manage production monitoring systems to ensure system health and performance.- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and stability issues using a variety of tools.- Evaluate and implement application and environment security measures.- Follow organizational change processes during system implementations.- Utilize version control for application infrastructure and promote the DevOps/SRE mindset.- Participate in an on-call rotation as required and conduct root-cause analysis for production incidents, producing high-quality RCA reports.Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of production-level experience with distributed applications at scale in public cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration engines such as Kubernetes.- Strong experience in building and managing infrastructure on AWS using various services (e.g., EC2, IAM, S3, Route53, CloudFront, SQS, EBS, KMS, CloudWatch).- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps tools, GitOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines.- Expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, Splunk, etc.- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.- Proficiency in monitoring and scaling infrastructure, implementing automation strategies, and ensuring security compliance.- Bonus: Familiarity with chaos and resilience engineering concepts.- Experience in one or more programming languages: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, Go.- Experience in software development, particularly within the context of a SaaS offering.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.- Adaptability to new technologies and changing priorities.- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.- A good sense of humor, standout colleague, self-starter, and ability to learn quickly.
