This role is located inChennai, Tamil Nadu - HYBRID.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Senior Vice President will be accountable to deliver complex analytics and reporting. S/he plays an integral role in the development of period end analysis, consolidation, commentary, variance analyses, and reporting, supporting key performance indicator (KPI) metrics tracking and scorecard reporting.Own and be responsible for the delivery of all performance management requirements of the business. Provide value add through comprehensive understanding of financials, business context and analysis to support their decision making and strategic development.Lead the budgeting, forecasting, reporting, operating performance, profitability, and industry/competitor outcomes and trends.Lead and deliver on Finance transformation through technology adoption and streamlining.Collaborate with senior members of the team and the business line CFOs to work on ad-hoc requests and present financial information.Produce executive presentations, analysis and supporting materials for senior management.Provide thought leadership in simplifying and articulating complex issues.Collaborate with the team and develop the staff to take up different/more value-added roles.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Chartered Accountant / MBA in finance with at least 12-15 years of working experience in financial planning, forecasting and variance/ trend analysis will be preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong technical, analytical, including Excel, PowerPointHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervisionActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersAbility to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendationsAdvanced Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Proficiency with reporting tools like MAQ, HFM, Cognos, Power BIProficiency with SAP, PeopleSoft, or other relative ERP/ accounting toolsAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
