And we'll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.A day in the life :-You will need to engage with other senior engineers to review key designs, architecture.You will review key customer and operational metrics, look at system health.You will problem solve complex ambiguous problems.You will code critical and complex modules.You influence senior leaders and propose architecture to support future needs.Responsibilities:Hands-on experience to implement solutions using Java, J2EE, Spring, Springboot, groovyExperience developing REST APIs with integrations with third-party solutionsWorking knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologiesExperience with TDD and writing robust Unit Test cases.Exposure to CICD tools, including Github, Maven, Jenkins and artifactory.Hands-on development to prototype technical solutions.Knowledge of any cloud platform solutionsAware of Agile (Scrum) methodologiesWilling to adapt and learn new/emerging technologies.Good communication and interpersonal skillsParticipate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.QualificationsB.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science6-9 years of experience in development within product-based companies or R&D divisions.Knowledge in Java, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Data structures and algorithmsWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
