Engineering / R&D at NutanixThis is a highly passionate team which works with various stakeholders across Nutanix to deliver OEM platforms to support the Nutanix Cloud Platform. This is a team with unlimited opportunities in product management and Go-to-Market (GTM) to define next generation platforms for multiple enterprise workloads. Your RoleProduct: · Understand target market segments, applications, and use cases for Nutanix software. · Ability to translate next-generation server hardware technologies such as CPU, storage, hardware Accelerators, GPU. · Define product requirements for specific hardware models, components, and configurations to be qualified as Nutanix Ready platforms. · Work with multiple product management teams (including OEM partners) and cross-functional teams to drive and build a compelling product strategy and roadmap. · Evaluate market trends in server hardware technologies. · Actively engage in the product lifecycle from product definition to product release · Conduct ongoing competitive data analysis and market validation activities. · Ability to synthesize market data and customer requirements into a Product Requirement Document (PRD) and Business Case to bring innovative products to market GTM: · Present roadmap's to customers, field SE's/sales, cross-functional product teams, and executive teams · Collaborate with marketing to provide product positioning, messaging and contribute to collaterals. · Collaborate with business development, pricing, and quote to cash teams on product-related activities. · Participate in the OEM quarterly business review. · Guide key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy (including route to market) across all phases of the life-cycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit) · Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to help develop SW features that are complementary to our solutions. What You Will Bring· Bachelor's degree, MBA, and technical disciplines preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent. · 5+ years of product management experience. · Experience with Hyper-converged, x86 server, storage appliances, or storage/server/data networking is highly desirable. · Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams in engineering, support, business development and Sales/SE. · Extensive experience in enabling field in pre-sales engagements. · Leadership DNA. · Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions · Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills · Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority · High energy and excellent teamwork skills About the TeamAbout Your Manager:Name and Title: Biswapati Bhattacharjee, Senior Manager, PM Information:Biswapati has extensive experience in product organizations, specializing in the product life cycle and HCI.
