Project Management:Requirement gathering and Project Planning.Work with customer to gather technical and non-technical application details required for agent deployment and configuration.Perform data validation and Understanding User Journey. Designing platform architecture and Network configuration.Design the platform architecture or validate existing setup for new applications. Platform and Components InstallationInstall different components of APM Tool and validate internal working of tool.Perform agent installation as per the defined best practices. o Instrumenting application other than Java and .NetCalculating license for new applications / components and set up a process for License Management. Basic and Advance Configuration in APM Tool.Transaction Configuration and other tool specific configuration related to Application Monitoring.Configuring Database, End User Monitoring and Synthetic Monitoring.Log Analytics.Configure data collectors based on class/method or HTTP parameter to enable business context in monitored applications.Using these to create user journey and add in dashboards. Validate Alerts and Dashboards.Creating alerts by adding threshold values or on baseline values.Creating Dashboards using different KPI's for different Roles. Monitoring Applications.Monitoring Applications w.r.t to any incident and issues.Reporting Issues to Internal Team and Customer Teams. Feedback from Customer and sharing with team for improvements.Regularly take feedback from customer of Application configuration, reports, dashboards, etc.Share feedback with internal team and check if suggestion can be used for maturity. Identify Blind spots and baseline application performance.Check with application team if any change in Application Architecture to incorporate in Monitoring.Create a baseline and after improvements in Application compare with baseline.
