Nutanix welcomes big thinkers, those who are unafraid to take on seemingly impossible demands and interested in learning new things.Nutanix is looking for technology pioneers for our Platform Software team to build Software Solutions that will enable us to run Acropolis OS seamlessly across multiple Hardware Platforms.Engineering / R&D at NutanixYour RoleAnalyze requirements, design, code and develop software features to deliver a robust and optimal platform solution.Deep understanding of x86 server Architectures, Storage, Networking, Operating Systems and Server Virtualization technologiesDesign and develop new features/functionalities in Nutanix software stack related to platform integrations(BMC, Storage Components).Review functional test cases/test plans to have the right coverage for the developed feature.Work with hardware, software, and quality assurance teams to drive functional verification, system validation and performance requirements.Engage with Nutanix's support team on field issues to help sustain the life cycle of the company's products.What You Will BringBachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field with at least5-7 yearsof relevant experience,Working experience and expertise in:Good development experience in complete Software Development Life CycleUnderstanding and Experience in developing Enterprise Systems & SoftwareStrong Programming & Debugging skills in any Python or Go.Understanding on protocols IPMI,Redfish etc.Good understanding of Linux internals and its usageExposure to Server virtualization technologiesExposure to Storage software stack architecture and related components such as storage controllers, solid-state devices and hard disk drives.About the TeamAbout Your Manager:You'll be reporting to Senior Manager, Rakesh Khurana, who brings over 20 years of experience to the table.
