Recruitment activities may include advertising, interviewing, testing, selecting candidates; checking references; negotiating employment offers; relocation; orientation and introductory training.This role in summaryThe GTEC Talent Acquisition Lead guides and empowers a team of recruiters to execute against functional goals by providing direction on recruiting strategies and best practices. The incumbent will own hiring leader relationships, ensure candidates have a positive hiring experience, and present key metrics to leadership as well as escalate any concerns / roadblocks. This role will also manage the end-to-end recruiting processes for a select number of requisitions.Your responsibilities will includeMaintains high visibility with and influences assigned business leaders and HR membersProvides day-to-day management and direction of strategic initiatives to the recruiting team.Supports team to deliver on TA key performance metrics.Ensures ATS information is up to date and compliant with regional regulations.Interfaces with the Global TA Team to gain insight into business talent needs and stays current on regional best practices and issues.Uses knowledge and expertise in TA to coach and develop TA team members Acts as talent acquisition SME to advise and prioritize local needs Partners with HR Operations to ensure alignment and delivery for cross-functional initiatives and successful day-to-day TA deliveryMonitors and measures the overall effectiveness/impact of the internal and external TA strategies, TA execution, and stakeholder/candidate satisfaction Manages regional vendor relationships, contracts and performance Works with procurement to provide requirements, participate in selection and manage ongoing regional vendor relationships Participates in regional vendor management meetings and ensures regional vendor adherence to contract, SLAs, and performance guarantees Minimum requirementsEDUCATIONAL  QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONSMinimum requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent  5+ years of functional Talent Acquisition experiencePreferred skills and experiencesGraduate degree (MS / MA, MBA) with specialization in HR 2+ years managing and leading TA or HR teams Technology / engineering recruiting background Experience in the latest recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance process efficiencies Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills; strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments, and processes Experience in a global TA function In-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in the industry & local market Familiarity with regional TA vendor contracts and contract managementConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
