Find your place in technology on #TeamAmexHow will you make an impact in this role?Actively participate with an Agile team of 6-8 software engineers.Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.Conduct API and UI testing to ensure software functionality and user experience.Lead quality assurance and testing for EMV chip card applications.Perform technology partner EMV chip card personalization level validation/testing for assigned projects to ensure data format accuracy per the relevant specifications and defined requirements during the certification process.Identify, and resolve moderately sophisticated processing, application usage, or business issues.Bring up chip card issues to internal Systems Architect, Product Development, Product Management, and/or Operations teams and lead issue resolution.Perform research to analyze and resolve EMV card personalization problems in both the test and production environment.Present new technologies, industry trends or passion projects to teammates and wider organization; share findings and insights.Playing an active role in hiring and mentoring other specialists.Minimum QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)Minimum of 8 years' experience in quality engineering, with expertise in EMV chip card testing.Good knowledge of EMV smart card industry, certification and implementation processes or experience as an integration specialist, developer, or certification role in the payment industry.Experience with EMV card test tools like Barnes, OPV.Strong experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.Proficient in additional programming languages such as Javascript is a plus.Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL is a plus.Ability to prioritize work across multiple, concurrent projects.Strong communications skills.Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
