Your emphasis will be to apply best known methods to create elegant reusable software. Your responsibilities will include the support of existing applications as well as the development of new software systems involving databases, automation, and data science analysis of large datasets. You will collaborate with other Micron engineers and managers world-wide from groups including Production Engineering, Design, Reticle Manufacturing and Process Integration.Responsibilities and Tasks:Design and develop software, scripts, APIs, and web based interactive reporting tools utilized by internal groups, utilizing the following skills:Determine root cause for complex software issues and development efficient and practical technical solutions.Proficient in multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Java)Proficient in multiple front-end languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)Experience in multiple web application frameworks (React,Flask,Spring Boot)Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)Perform day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database optimization and tuning, etc.).Experience with Linux command line tools and environmentProvide Ongoing Support of Software Tools Utilized by Internal Groups:Maintain and support current tools for our international MaskTech floAddress customer requests for improvements, support, and new tools developmentBuild and maintain Developer and User documentationWork closely with cross-functional teams and managementContinually Acquire New Skills (Software/Hardware) and Knowledge:·Keep abreast of new technology, development tools, and development techniques·Analyze new tools for advantages over current tool setsAdditional Qualifications:·Semiconductor industry experience preferred:Mask Tapeout flow, CAD, automation·Global mindset and experience working with remote teams abroad·Ability to collaborate with blended teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements·Strong verbal and written communication skills·Proven ability to collaborate well with team members and drive for results·Excellent organizational and management skills and outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills·Ability to provide in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex technical issues.·Proactive and ambitious personality·Good multi-tasking and problem-solving skills·Excellent communication and teamwork skills·Great attention to detail·Organizational skillsEducation and Experience:·Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related course of study.·0-5 years of job related experience·0-5 years experience as a software engineerAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
