You will work on software initiatives, rapid POCs, analysis of software products, and real-time multi Petabyte high throughput low latency applications.Support engineers and project managers in rapid development and deploymentTroubleshoot production issues by engaging support teams and assist in the resolution of issues; formulate action plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues, and create/update support RunbooksDrive both high level and detailed design, conduct design reviews, and feature implementationActively participate in the design of new systems and the redesign of existing systems to meet product requirements, changing needsEngage and work with cross-functional leaders to understand and help define business principles, goals and strategy within scope of responsibility.Communicate to senior leaders with regard to strategy direction and changes.Mentor engineers and solution architects to ensure technology complexities are understood very clearly to implement solutions expeditiously with high quality.Perform Rapid POCs to prove software initiatives and validate ideas for large multi cloud observability platform deploymentsMinimum QualificationsExperience 5 -8 YearsStrong grasp of data structures and algorithmsStrong hands-on experience in Java with extensive understanding of the JVM and garbage collectors and JVM memory modelExtensive experience in designing and implementing large scale distributed data intensive platforms with high resiliency, availability, and reliability.Strong experience in maintaining high throughput, low latency applications.Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.Proven collaboration skills along with the ability to influence without authorityBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or related field required; Advanced Degree preferred, with 8 or more years of experience in software engineering, design and architecture .Preferred Qualifications :Hands on experience with Kotlin and/or GoExperience in working with Observability standards OpenTelemetry.Experience with micro services architectures and service mesh technologies.Hands on experience in the following: Vert.x, Spring, Envoy, gRPC, protobuf, JSON, CouchBase, Cassandra, Redis, Consul, Jenkins, docker, Kubernates, OpenShift, Elastic Stack, Kafka, SparkWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
