The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NLP and machine learning, and hands-on experience with open source frameworks. You will be responsible for building and deploying AI models and systems that deliver outstanding customer experiences, as well as internal solutions for employees and teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy AI models using open source frameworksImplement NLP techniques such as intent recognition, entity extraction, and response generationDesign and develop conversational AI workflows and integrate with existing systems and platforms, including American Express proprietary systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer and employee needs, and improve conversational AI solutionsStay up-to-date with the latest NLP and AI trends and technologiesManage and monitor AI models in production using MLOps best practices and ensure high availability and reliability of conversational AI solutionsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field5+ years of strong experience in NLP and machine learningHands-on experience with open source conversational AI frameworks such as RasaStrong programming skills in PythonExperience with MLOps and deploying models in productionExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environmentWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
