Embedded Firmware Design Engineer

1. Understand product requirements; Design, develop, code and implement devicedrivers, algorithms, on-board / off-board communication modules in embedded C.2. Hands-on experience with developing device drivers such as Clock, Timers, ADC,Flash, EEPROM, SRAM, Counter, PWM, and Watchdog timers3. Firmware implementation and debug experience in acquiring digital and analogdata, process the raw data for errors like offset, scale factor and linearity,implement filters, process and store4. Develop and implement communication algorithms for 1553B serial bus5. Implement, debug communication protocols over SPI, UART, I2C and SPORT6. At least two project experience, end to end, from requirements to design,implementation, debug, unit and integration testing with target hardware7. One project experience with Analog DSP is preferred.8. Hands-on experience with eclipse based software development platforms (IDE)and tools such as in circuit emulators, simulators, debuggers and profilers9. Experience with documentation: Requirement specifications, design, flow chart,test plan and test reports10.General:10.1. Controller Experience: Analog Devices DSPs (Preferred), Arm cortexM3/M4, general purpose 16 / 32 bit controllers10.2. FreeRTOS or OS less environment10.3. Related experience with hardware high level design, signals flow, abilityto detect and isolate the issues to hardware and or firmware is a plus
