If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (IN-TN), India (IN).Job Responsibilities Include:Manages a 3-person client teamPerforms written performance reviews for teamHolds regular one-on-ones with team membersDesigns independently within a defined architectureProvides input to the architectureUnderstands different architectural views (conceptual, logical, physical, and deployment)Reviews code assuring Definition of Done, coding standards, and good design principles are metOperates as a "full-stack" developer with expertise in new and legacy architecture stylesDevelops talent at all levels of developerSets an example of a professional developerCoaches and teaches usage of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Architectural PatternsEstablishes development environment setup for team from scratchCreates new hosting and deployment environments from scratch, or works with engineering in their creationEstablishes new Continuous Integration, integrates with SCM, and sets up buildsGuides the team in developing estimatesCommunicates with the client on new features and scope changeDefines technical approach, leads team in implementing itDesigns features independentlyDelivers complex componentsDefines and manages tools and processes for teamMentors team on methodology useInterviews junior and mid-level candidates for the team Proactively raises and solves issues with clientsBasic Qualifications:8+ years of professional experience developing in C#5+ years of experience working with .NET technologies including at least one of the following: Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, or MAUI3+ years of experience working with Azure including at least one of these technologies: Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Identity, AD, AKS, AzDO, and APIM3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, NodeJS and/or other related front-end web technologies 3+ years of experience with unit testing 2+ years of experience in creating new hosting and deployment environments from scratch, working knowledge of containers and virtualizationPreferred Skills:Highly proficient implementing and consuming SOAP or REST servicesAdvanced debugging and troubleshooting tools and techniquesExpert database programming skillsExpertise in Object-Oriented Design and Development (SOLID principles)In-Depth understanding of Server operating systems and Cloud hosting models, and strong ability to establish new Continuous Integration, integrate with SCM, and setup buildsStrong experience with the Agile methodology and the SCRUM processExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior team leadership experience strongly preferredMaster's degree in technical discipline desired#Launch #LaunchJobs #LaunchEngineeringAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
