Job Description – Deputy Manager - TaxPrimary responsibilities:Providing support in undertaking corporate income tax (direct & indirect) compliances for Zscaler Softech India Private LimitedPreparation and/or review of corporate income tax, TDS and GST calculationsCalculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the sameEnsuring accurate, timely filing of income tax, TDS and indirect tax returnsPreparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliationsPreparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting toolUndertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in IndiaMaintenance of records of all tax filings and paymentsPrepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculationsDesired skills:Ability to function in fast-paced environmentProactiveness in execution of projects/assignmentsExcellent eye for detailsTeam player – demonstrating commitment towards the teamSeasoned procurement skill set required i.e. analytics, buy strategies and tactical implementationAnalytical thinking - ability to quickly analyse data and transform it into meaningful insightStrong interpersonal skills - ability to work effectively as part of a team in an unstructured environment; comfortable and effective in working with all levels of management; ability to tactfully receive constructive feedbackDemonstrating innovative and critical thinking in managing projects including identification of better ways to handle a projectMust be a "self-starter" with a can-do attitude and a serious desire to have a positive impact on our companyEducational background and experience:Chartered Accountant with 7 to 8 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances/tax returns at a multinational organizationChartered Accountant qualified in year 2016 or 2017 would be preferredGood knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliancesExperience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantageAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeFluency in English (speaking & writing)#LI-VV3
