Job Description – Deputy Manager - Tax

Primary responsibilities:
Providing support in undertaking corporate income tax (direct & indirect) compliances for Zscaler Softech India Private Limited
Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax, TDS and GST calculations
Calculation of advance/estimated tax liabilities and ensuring timely payments of the same
Ensuring accurate, timely filing of income tax, TDS and indirect tax returns
Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and indirect tax reconciliations
Preparation and/or review of tax journal entries to be posted in accounting tool
Undertaking of research on complex tax issues arising in India
Maintenance of records of all tax filings and payments
Prepare various ad hoc reports required to support the tax calculations

Educational background and experience:
Chartered Accountant with 7 to 8 years of experience in tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances/tax returns at a multinational organization
Chartered Accountant qualified in year 2016 or 2017 would be preferred
Good knowledge of tax accounting and tax (direct & indirect tax) compliances
Experience working for a U.S. owned company would be an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in English (speaking & writing)
