The critical areas we support:Regulatory Support: Execution of business data quality measurements as per regulatory programs like CCAR, AML etcMetrics Design: Identification of critical data elements in different systems, data quality rules design, Testing and validation of rules Data Governance: Standardization of data definitions and ensuring consistency in measurement as per definitions across systems/products/regionsDQ Score cards: Publishing monthly/quarterly score cards at country level and preparing executive summary reports for senior managementMetadata Management: Standardize in providing organizational understanding of business terms and usage, Collect & Integrate metadata from diverse sources and provide standard way to access metadata by maintaining data dictionaries, data catalogs etc.Issue Management: Identifying defects and investigating root causes for different issues. Following up with stakeholders for resolution as per SLAAudit Support: Identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completionRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe Data Steward Analyst (Metadata/Data Lineage) role is responsible for defining, documenting, maintaining, communicating and publishing metadata, performing and maintaining data lineage and supporting the use of metadata for all data consumers.Work with business partners to Identify & propose data elements to be designated as Critical Data Element (CDEs).Identify Trusted Source (i.e. system of origin, system of record and authoritative provisioning point) for each approved CDE in their business process.Capture metadata for CDEs within the business process and ensure that it is stored in accordance to the CDO's Metadata Management Process.Review business glossary with the Process Owner and publish it to enterprise Metadata Repository.Support Data Custodians to manage and update data dictionaries.Serve as a trusted partner, collaborate and communicate frequently with Process Owner(s), Business Architects, Data Providers and Data Custodians.Be actively involved in various initiatives including but not limited to overlaying data on process maps, appropriateness of Trusted Source assignment for CDEs in scope, data quality, data lineage, metadata management and maintenance of data dictionaries. Expertise Required:Analytical SkillsData analysis and visualizationProficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with dataGenerate actionable Business InsightsTools and PlatformsProficient in SAS, SQLProficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and VBAExperience on Metadata tools like Collibra or Solidatus would be an added advantageDomain SkillsExposure to Metadata and Other Data governance skills below would be an added advantageData definitions and data discoveryData Catalog , Data Lineage and Data DictionariesData quality frameworkData GovernanceSoft SkillsAbility to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler formShould have excellent communication and inter-personal skillsGood process management skillsAbility to work in teamsEducational and Experience:MBA / Master degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute.
