This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about.Team Overview :The Treasury Services DDO team is to drive and adopt a strategic data management framework to enable data as an asset for the business. The team supports the utilization of policies and procedures that guide and control data management and usage, provides insights including data quality monitoring and issue management to manage data across the Bank, and executes various initiatives to support the Business' priorities.Data Modeling and MI is one of the core capabilities of the TSDO team to support an efficient and effective data strategy.  This role is a critical role in translating business needs into the information required to deliver solutions. The role will be a key across multiple projects working with Data Architects in understanding architectural directions, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and developing the appropriate data structures and MI. In addition, the role will have significant influence in Treasury Services as a Service initiatives. This position will play a key role in the transition from traditional reporting to a more dynamic, real-time analytics environment ensuring a foundation to deliver information to internal consumers at all levels in the organization.We're seeking a future team member for the role ofAssociate, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis II to join our Treasury Services DDO team.This role is located inChennai or Pune - HYBRID.Shift Timings:In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Monitor the Jira tickets on daily basis for any pot implementation support/action and developmentMonitor daily refresh scheduled to ensure dashboards are refreshed and ready for users reviewExpected to understand data flow model and multiple systems used for sourcing the data.Developing innovative reporting capabilities to perform highly complex historical or predictive analyses to support end to end processes within Treasury Services. Lead the technical approach and delivery of complex financial analytics and reportingIdentify Treasury strategy needs, and partners with the customer and/or functional leaders to ensure needs are met Improving the control environment through technology capabilitiesDevelops and implements process improvements to team efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring consistently high service delivery standards  Provides guidance to less experienced team members as needed. May lead projects and/or analyses Assist in performing root cause analysis for data quality errors, research and determine scope and complexity of issues and identify the steps for remediation.Determine business impact level for the data quality issuesQuantify materiality for proper escalationsAssist in the analysis of customizing and enhancing the dashboard based on stakeholder requests.Experience/Competency with leading data profiling tools (such as Alteryx, Pentaho, SQL, BI tools, etc.)Provide inputs, actively host and participate in user forums for faster issue resolutions and developmentsThe staff member will be expected to cultivate relationships with staff or contractors in: Technology, Data Strategy, Data Operations to ensure efficient identification, collection, and use of data along with the management of the associated data governances processes.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor Degree in a financial/Engineering discipline such as accounting, finance, statistics, or degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance or economics preferred.Skills & Experience4+  years of total work experience preferredSelf-starter – Should drive change on their own with minimal direction neededExperience with finance data set and process: Balance Sheet, P&L, Consolidations, Client Product Profitability, liquidity analytics and reportingSuperb communication skills - Strong written and oral communications skills Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skillsConfident and calm demeanor with ability to perform under pressure and handle difficult situations Advanced Proficiency in MS Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Dynamics), Tableau, Alteryx, Pentaho, SQLExperience with leading reporting tools required (such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx, OLAP tools)Knowledge of the structuring/Hydration of data is a preferred. Experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture and/or Data Warehousing; preferably in a shared or enterprise data environment.At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
