And we'll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.How will you make an impact in this role?Function Description: Operational Excellence (OE) plays a vital role in driving the soundness of the lines of business under Global Commercial Services (GCS) through business self-testing.Purpose of the Role: This role will be a member of the Operational Excellence team and be responsible for designing new, undertaking maintenance and refresh of existing compendiums supporting GCS BST program across all segments/channels.The key responsibilities will include:Collaborate with OE Performance team, Business and LOBCO / MCO to create new test compendiums that meet the regulatory and internal requirements for any new expansion to segment/market/channel of monitoring landscape.Support maintenance and refresh of existing compendiums for GCS BST program across all segments/channels.Liaising and managing stakeholder relationships across various partners extending to LOBCO/MCO's; OE Performance; Testing team; Capabilities team; Reporting etc. throughout the compendium lifecycle management.Undertaking compendium impact analysis for ad-hoc reviews on changes in regulatory mandates/process updates/other internal drivers.Supporting several Audit and Regulatory reviews, draft responses to review findings and work on action plans to remediate any observations identified as part of Audit engagement.Maintenance of compendium repository/database by documenting the changes undertaken to track and enable version log history as reference.Deliver periodic and ad-hoc reporting against key business testing and monitoring to support management's awareness and response to control improvements.Undertake regular project work analyzing business risks and exposures. Preparation of recommendations to business management with regards to process improvement, best practices, risk reduction as appropriate.Supporting the team on multiple ad-hoc projects on timely intervals for other processes.Minimum QualificationsExtensive knowledge of operational risk concepts and programs, balanced with the ability to drive assessment of risks and derive controls to mitigate the risk.4-6 years of experience working with audit, compliance, operational risk and/or control functionsProven ability to understand the regulations / laws and quickly design the compendiums to meet the regulatory requirements / audit findings or recommendations from stakeholders.Strong ability to understand process and/or operations management.Ability to lead and guide the group of Risk professionals.Strong ability to understand process and/or operations management.Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to network globally.Strong communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners.Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.Knowledge of Platforms:Minimum - Microsoft Office (Advanced), Microsoft SharePoint, Salesfoce.com & One.force, Outreach, BCMAPreferred - SQL; TableauBehavioral Skills/Capabilities:- Conflict Resolution & Stakeholder Management- People Management- Effective Time Management- Attention to DetailEnterprise Leadership Behaviors- Set The Agenda: Define What Winning Looks Like, Put Enterprise Thinking First, Lead with an External Perspective- Bring Others With You: Build the Best Team, Seek & Provide Coaching Feedback, Make Collaboration Essential- Do It The Right Way: Communicate Frequently, Candidly & Clearly, Make Decisions Quickly & Effectively, Live the Blue Box Values, Great Leadership Demands CourageWe back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
