The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent mathematical skills, and proficiency in relevant software applications.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Record Management:Maintain accurate andup-to-datefinancial records by recording transactions, verifying entries, and reconciling accounts on a regular basis.Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Zoho Books platformGenerate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements using Zoho Books.Financial Statement Preparation:Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with accounting standards.Budget Analysis:Analyze budgets and financial reports to identify discrepancies, variances, and areas for improvement.Tax Compliance:Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, assisting with audits, and staying updated on changes in tax laws.Financial Planning:Assist in financial planning processes by providing insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.Audit Support:Support audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as required by auditors.Expense Management:Monitor and control expenses by reviewing invoices, expenses, and other financial transactions.Financial Reporting:Prepare and submit financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.Forecasting:Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities forprocess improvementand implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.Handling invoice generation, sending invoices to clients, following up with clients, and ensuring payment is made before the due date.Petty cash managementExperience & Skills RequirementBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven 2- 3 years of experience as an Accountant or relevant role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proven experience as an accountant, with proficiency in Zoho Books software.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally, or similar).Excellent mathematical andanalytical skills.Attention to detailand accuracy in financial record-keeping.Ability towork independently and collaboratively in ateam environment.Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills.Ability toprioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
