Are you interested in working on the latest Z hardware and latest z/OS releases?The z/OS Service Test team is looking for you! We are not only responsible for final testing of all fixes delivered into the service stream for z/OS clients but are a critical contributor to the reduction of PTFs in Error (PE) for z/OS service.We provide an environment and assist developers in gaining confidence in their code by allowing them to execute special tests, recreates and early testing of ++APARs and ++PTFs before sending into the service stream.What you'll do:As a zOS Service Tester, you will be responsible for:Designing and automating test suites to ensure reliability of the system z(s390x) platform technologyHaving a client-first mindset to test at scale and imitate customer-like environmentsCreating strategies and scripts to test new features and functionalitiesContributing and reviewing code for internal and external repositoriesDocumenting processes (Test plans) and procedures for clarity and reproducibilityInteracting and co-ordinating with Global teams???????#ISAISDLESD24
