Business Descriptor:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Retail Banking and Wealth Management team.

Principal Responsibilities

- Ring-fencing of top HNI customers

- Investment FUM growth

- Strengthen HSBC’s image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise;

- Support PRMs to gain more clients’ confidence and trust in HSBC capabilities and increase the effectiveness and quality of needs fulfilled for target clients in need;

- Assist PRMs in deepening and growing client relationships through identifying and uncovering client's needs, identifying relevant wealth solution and technical analysis, and assisting PRMs in presenting and explaining solution(s) to client

- Conduct portfolio reviews with PRMs, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities and manage risks,

- Join PRMs in meeting clients and provide advice, input based on technical knowledge while acting as a second point of contact to PRMs for specific products and solutions

- Analyze portfolio of 60-75 customers every month and engage with them to provide advice based on sound investment expertise

- Have an understanding of the immediate regional Global Wealth Strategy and the ability to plan own activities accordingly

- Ambitious about providing the highest standards of delivery to colleagues and clients

- Demonstrate ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacity

- Authentic and show ability to engage with colleagues and clients to deliver at pace

- Make considered decisions that protect HSBC and our clients

- In depth knowledge of holistic Financial Planning Strategies

- Detailed understanding of generic financial vehicles and the areas of client needs they address in a financial plan

- Displays high standards of behavioural coaching excellence

- Advanced levels of presentation skills using different platforms

- Up to date knowledge of global economic outlooks

- Ability to create, manage and see through individual development plans

- Able to demonstrate client centric goal related questioning techniques

- A resilient change agent who can influence others

- Experienced business manager with proven understanding of activity-based sales management

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

Knowledge & Experience

- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Indepth knowledge and expertise in area of coaching responsiblilty including portfolio planning, sales process and client management skills.
- Previous experience and proven record as Premier RM, Premier Sales Manager, or Wealth Coach within HSBC or equivalent in other leading financial institution

- Detailed knowledge of global anti money laundering standards

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory governance in market

- Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations (the latter to be attained if new to HSBC)

- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment and prioritize work assignments
