JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Collection and Analysis of Vendor data across multiple parameters
Deriving usable reporting and intelligence from Vendor data
Formulating scenarios and outcomes, and suggesting recommendations
Vendor Management and contract management of Nissan vendors in your scope
Support/execute global and local vendor sourcing initiatives
Implement Vendor consolidation/rationalisation initiatives
Requirements management – collecting/translating business requirements for RFx process
Supporting Purchasing organisation in data driven techno-commercial negotiations
Working/collaborating with different IT units and business units
Being part of a global team and working with different work cultures
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
VMO professional with 4 to 8 years’ industry experience, with specific expertise in Data Analysis. Candidate needs to have adequate skills to cover ‘Job Responsibilities’ above, which includes:
Strong skills in data collection using various techniques
Hands on experience in analysing data and slicing and dicing across different scenarios
Expertise in formulating and presenting recommendations to senior management
Sound knowledge of Data collection & analysis tools, and MS Excel
Understanding of different IT commodities - IS/IT services, licenses and Infrastructure
Experience in Sourcing, RFx process, contracting models and commercial models
Broad experience in project management and ability to establish good relationships
Fully global thinking and behaviour, having worked in such global organisations
Knowledge of the IT business and IT market
High integrity and personal drive
Proactive in order to drive improvements and changes within your field of responsibility.
Degree in Management, Commerce or Science
Experience working in Automotive and/or Manufacturing sector
Understanding of IT tools related to VMO and IS/IT Sourcing
International experience, particularly covering Japan, Europe and US
This is a full time position, reporting functionally to Head of Vendor Management.
Travel Required:Occasional travel required – both international and local.
