Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President ,Full Stack Engineer I  to join our Technology Services Group, IT Asset Management team. This role is located in Chennai-TN, Hybrid .

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 
Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code utilizing back-end technologies such as SpringBoot/Java and front-end technologies such as Angular           
Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system                                                                                       
Ensure compliance with the firm's delivery and regulatory standards
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems                                               
Plan and Deploy software to all environments following enterprise change control process and using DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD                   
Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices. Plan and conduct Scrum calls, design sessions, resolve technical challenges and guide the development team.                                                                                 
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.                           
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale; maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design                                             
Improve our software delivery capabilities via automation

To besuccessful in this role, we're seeking the following:                                                                                                                                                                                             
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, libraries and frameworks (e.g. Angular/React, HTML/ CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, jQuery)                                                                                                                                       
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, oAuth 2.0, Spring JPA and Spring Data libraries                       
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server), Web servers (e.g. Tomcat Apache)                             
• Good understanding of containerization using docker images                                                                                    
• Prior experience using tools such as Git/SVN                                                                                                                
• Experience using CI/CD technologies such as Gitlab CI/CD. Good understanding of deployment pipelines.      

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Spring Unit/Junit and/or Mockito                  
• Knowledge of using Project Management tools such as Jira                                                                                        
• SQL Development experience                                                                                                           
• Good communication and documentation (design docs, UML diagrams, flowcharts) skills
