We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President Back Eng Engineer I to join our Buy Side Trading and Analytics engineering team. This role is located in Pune-MH, HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 
Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (e.g. Jenkins)
Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
As part of a team implement DevOps infrastructure projects
Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
Support front office traders with production related queries and issues
Monitor and review current alerting framework for file transfers
Design and build solutions for production support tools
Implement workflow tools and automation to mitigate risks associated with trade execution.
Programming well-designed, testable, secure, and efficient code. 

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or related discipline OR equivalent work experience is required.
Seven to Nine (7-9) years of experience in software development is required.
A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
Version control system experience (e.g. Git)
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
Bachelor or master's degree in CS, or equivalent practical experience
Effective communication skills
Experience in Finance / Markets
