We have an urgent requirement for Legal Counsel Manager with our client based in Tharamani ,ChennaiStrong Exp working with IT companies under Legal Dept is MUST.QualificationsA minimum 6 years of legal work experiencePreferably 5+ years of legal work experience in transaction IT servicesLaw degree from a reputed higher education institutionPreferably a blend of law firm and in-house experienceResponsibilitiesNegotiating various agreements with external clients and vendors; providing legal and business counsel to internal clients to resolve issues; managing external counsel (as applicable); ensuring that all agreements are concluded in accordance agreed risk parameters and working on miscellaneous projects.Excellent drafting skills: demonstrated experience with commercial transactions, specifically the drafting and negotiation of, but not limited to, the following types of agreements:Master services and technology-related agreementsSoftware licensing agreementsReseller agreementsPartnership agreementsTeaming agreementsRFPs and RFIsSettlement agreementsStatements of work(s)Subcontractor agreements; and cloud hosted services agreements.
