We are currently seeking a Testing Engineering Advisor to join our team in BANGALORE, Karnataka (IN-KA), India (IN).
1. Develop and execute comprehensive UAT testing strategies and plans.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements.
3. Manage and report on testing progress, defects, and risks.
4. Coordinate training for end-users and support teams.
5. Ensure knowledge transfer to production support teams.
6. Perform onboarding knowledge transfer and training for all new team members
7. Communicate with project managers to define test strategy, scope and evaluate test results followed by reporting and metrics
8. Participate in weekly calls and timely escalation of situation that requires client attention
9. Mentor and train team members in quality standards and ensure QA processes adhere to quality standards
10. Conduct root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures
11. Lead root cause and defect resolution for all production issues with special focus on high-impacting defects
12. Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
13. Responsible for successful execution and informing team and managers of obstacles, issues, and risks
14. Conduct ad-hoc testing and complete defect validations, being an expert in 'breaking the application'
1. Test Manager with atleast 9 years of experience in Testing, Transition Management and People Management
2. Good Experience in any of the Test Management tools (Jira, ALM etc)
3. Basic SQL knowledge
4. Excellent communication skills with willingness to speak up in meetings to share issues, observations, and ask clarifying questions
5. Quick learner and ability to learn new applications and process flows
6. Ability to support multiple applications and understand the end to end flows
7. Experience working with Agile teams, attending all Agile ceremonies planning, daily scrum call delivery and reporting sprint level deliverables
8. Prepare and Maintain triage documentation and knowledge articles for new and existing applications
11. Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions

3. Must be ready to work in 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST and 2:00 PM to 12:30 PM IST Shift
