Position Summary:

Workplace (WSDS) Technical Project Leader responsible to plan, lead and manage the successful delivery of workplace transformation, migration and build (Greenfield and Brownfield) Projects.

The resource needs to be:

Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, familiar with governing disruptive technologies, managing multiple vendors, contractors and technology disciplines, while communicating to multiple entities which include end users, customers, business and technology partners
Leads projects independently or as a part of program and provides governance to other team members
Understand the business needs of the project and drives the projects to closure with ease which should result in a good customer experience and drives CSAT towards perfection

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Technical Project Lead to drive the workplace components in a project along with technical architects/SMEs for a new or existing Atos outsourcing client
Act as a technical project lead - understand workplace solution building blocks and how they fulfill client requirements and meets Atos contractual obligations
Manage all aspects of the project implementations including project rollouts, resource tracking, budget management, schedule development, cost/ budget analysis, cross discipline coordination and communications and deliver projects in time and within budget
Ensure all appropriate documentation, requirements, design and test specifications and other required deliverables are created and reviewed/approved by external and internal stakeholders
Issue regular project status and manage communication with internal Atos stakeholder and client representatives
Manage project team and resource allocation
Facilitate the resolution of issues and escalate issues to project stakeholders as required
Deep understanding of project management methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PMBOK, Prince2)
Ensures compliance with relevant corporate policies and standards Achieve project milestones through regular cross-functional project meetings to review schedule, status, issues and to ensure conflict resolution and risk mitigation
Procurement experience is essential
Be able to construct a detailed plan report/ flow diagrams in either of Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, etc
Successful experience in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processes
Ability to lead project teams in a highly matrix environment
Demonstrated experience implementing new technologies
Follow transition process to hand-off support to support team after rollout
Strong process improvement focus and best practice knowledge
Experience in planning and managing data center migrations or consolidations
Well versed of Migration Methodology and Tools

Technical skills:
Good to have certifications like CAPM, PMP, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM),Prince2
Expert Knowledge in Active Directory (On Prem & Azure)
Understanding of Azure Synch
Understanding of AD migration tools ( e.g BinaryTree, Quest etc)
Experience of Cross Forest/Domain migration
Understanding of AD forest/Domain trust
Extensive knowledge in server operating system MS Windows 2008 R2 and higher
Knowledge in Domain Controller migration at customer locations
Knowledge in OU/Objects/Group Policy management

Soft Skills:

Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal
Experience in gathering customer/user requirements
Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to structure and draft technical documentation

Flexibility:

Should be working for the North American time zone
Overtime may be necessary to complete tasks
Need to be flexible with respect to working times, based on GBU timings for whom the transition is being managed
Working on weekends during Production move

Working Experience & Education Qualification:

Formal education level: Bachelor's Degree
5-8 years of overall IT experience
Recent and relevant experience of 2-3 years of project management in migration projects like - migration/ upgrade/ consolidation / implementation etc
PMP / Prince 2 certification preferred
