Department Overview
Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services, Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology).

About the Role
You will work as part of the Fixed Income Trading Support team to support Fixed Income Sales and Trading. You will interact closely with multiples business partners including the Front Office Traders, Middle Office managers, Sales desk with Finance, Risk and PnL. You are required to work in supporting and maintaining multiple applications for the Wells Fargo trading desks in Tokyo, Hong Kong, London and USA. These applications provide access to trading desk and middle office users from trade executions and booking, market making and quotes, trade monitoring and reconciliation, pricing with pnl and risk analysis, regulatory reporting and through to settlement.

Role and Responsibilities
Provide hands-on Level 1 and 2 application support on trading tools and platform knowledge in your LOB (24X7).

To maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to system.

Troubleshoots hardware and software issues using general guidelines, templates or direction from others.

Writing and updating documentation and procedures.

The flexibility to work outside of normal working hours to meet deadlines.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline.

Knowledge of capital markets and understanding the business across primary markets and front office systems.

Hands-on IT experience in Unix/Linux environment based enterprise applications.

Writing SQL Queries for fault diagnostics, resolution or change controls.

Production Application Support including customer issues investigation and resolution.

Should be able to handle Change Requests and be able to deploy the application in production/nonproduction environments.

A good working knowledge of Window servers.

Good understanding of job scheduling tools like Autosys.

Strong analytical skills.

Fluency in English and at least one regional language.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with US partners directly.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Participating in testing and updating the business continuity plan.

The flexibility to work in adhoc shifts when required.

The ability to understand team dynamics and use interpersonal skills and personal judgment to achieve goals.

Desired Qualifications
Certification in DBMS or UNIX

Proven knowledge of diagnostic and support tools used in the application support environment

Market Skills and Certifications

4+ years of experience in IT.
Primary Skills: UNIX, SQL, Shell scripting, Autosys
Secondary Skills: Pl SQL
Other Skills (Not Part of Standard Primary/Secondary Skills): Diagnostic Tools like ITRS
Domain Knowledge: Capital Markets domain
