Partnering with sales to help and identify the needs for paper & packagingprocurement.Manage the company & day-to-day purchasing activities and procure paper &packaging paper at a competitive cost.Ensure that the material procured from the mills meet their performancestandard and provide feedback if there is any quality issues.Managing inventory to ensure smooth supply of Paper to fulfill the customerrequirement.Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventorylevel needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year.Managing complex negotiations with multiple vendors and mills.Developing sound understanding of cost-effective strategies for the products thatcustomer require.Building a culture of long-term saving on procurement cost by assessing, evaluating,and analysing the spend and creating alternatives ways of procuring.Partnering with businesses and supporting functions to enable them to get the mostoptimum procurement termsImproving the Business Process and Cost Reduction.Conducting research and gather market intelligence for procuring the bestproducts in line with the budgets provided by networking with people of paper &packaging industry.Responsible for inventory management, dead/ non- moving stock management.Influencing and negotiating the contract terms and ensuring compliance toCompany & Spend ; Transaction Policy.Tracking and analysing data on spending and saving by improving efficiency andmanaging audit for procurement functionCoordination with finance dept. for vendor payments.Evaluate and report on KPIs
