This is a hybrid position with the expectation to work onsite three (3) days a week in the Ericsson Office located in Bangalore, India. Relocation is not offered for this position.

The Ericsson team is seeking a passionate and experienced Strategic Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a winning portfolio of strategic business initiatives in WWAN and cyber security, as well as defining and building the next generation 5G platforms and software for branch, mobile & IoT.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data analysis, strategic decision-making, and market understanding, with the ability to apply tactical skills in governance forums and continuous performance tracking. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can synthesize complex data into actionable insights and work cross-functionally to drive business success.
What you will do:
Strategic Decision-Making:Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support long-term business objectives. Drive the execution of strategic initiatives and projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that align with strategic business objectives. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Monitor Performance and Progress:Monitor the performance and progress of strategic initiatives. Track the effectiveness of the strategy execution and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
Identify Opportunities and Risks:Conduct thorough market research to understand technology trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify upcoming opportunities and risks.
Facilitate Decision-Making:Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership in decision-making processes, offering insights and recommendations based on analysis of business data and market intelligence.
Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, employees, customers, partners, and investors.
Optimize Product Development Processes:Continuously improve product development processes and workflows to increase efficiency, speed, and quality of product delivery.
Cross-functional collaboration:Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across teams, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing to drive product excellence. Take lead and drive cross-functional forums and round tables to increase cooperations.

The skills you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, industrial Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in a strategic business analyst role or similar, covering business intelligence, data analysis, and strategic planning.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate data into actionable business strategies. Strong analytical skills and excellent understanding of market research and competitive analysis.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
