Main Responsibilities: STRATEGY Develop, implement and sustain a strategy for the Business Systems Improvement department which supports the company in achieving its growth plans. CULTURAL CHANGE 1.To become a driver in changing the culture toward making improvements by: 2.Establishing relationships on the shop floor 3.Responsible for plant wide quality and continuous improvement 4.Develop a continuous improvement culture at all levels of the business 5.Facilitating the standardization of standard operating procedures (SOPs) 6.Facilitating the full introduction and use of an BD culture 7.Facilitating the mindset of Right First Time BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 1.Custodian of the Business Management System. 2.To facilitate the Business Management System to ensure everyone owns their business process and adheres to them 3.Facilitate successful assessments of our current ISO 9001:2000 registration with BSI 4.Review and development of the internal audit system to ensure audits are effective and provide opportunities for continuing improvement. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS 1.Development of the Customer Concern Process utilising the 8D technique and tools with the aim of reducing complaints, responding to the customer upon receipt and closure within the customer specified timescale to include. 2.Completion of a Customer concern database 3.Establish regular review meetings 4.Creation of cell quality data 5.Operator awareness of Customer issues 6.8D training for support areas 7.Customer assembly line audits (AC charge process) 8.Develop strong working relationships 9.Conduct visits to customers to aid problem resolution 10.Involvement of new product introduction Previous Work Experience: Experience of working within a Quality department operating at management level.
