We are seeking an innovative and analytical Sr. Manager, Program Management to lead the Prime Video Compliance and Classification ( VCC ) function for India and other territories with unique and complex compliance requirements. The Sr. Manager, Program Management is a key member of the VCC organization contributing to its core mission to enforce global and territory-specific compliance policies, safeguard customer trust and protect Amazon from legal and PR related issues arising from Prime Video content. You will lead the Prime Video content compliance program across multiple geographies (e.g., India, Middle East, etc.) and will take end-to-end ownership for delivery of key projects, while maintaining operational excellence. You will work closely with in-country leaders, program leaders across geographies, engineering, product management, content acquisition, legal, PR, marketing, merchandising, customer service and executive teams to bring new products to market, develop and grow business opportunities and enhance the Prime Video customer experience. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, leveraging analytical expertise, effective team management and resourcefulness to autonomously deliver results.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Leading and developing a team of program managers and operators responsible for implementing territory-specific compliance programs and executing day-to-day operationsDefining operational requirements to support new business launches and managing end-to-end implementation through partnership with teams across engineering, product management, content acquisition, legal, PR, marketing, merchandising and customer serviceScaling territory-specific compliance workflows and extending to new geographies by leveraging technology, streamlining operations and delivering ongoing process improvements to keep pace with Prime Video business growth and to maintain customer experience standardsDeveloping strategies to support new operational requirements, as defined by business or product ownersEarning trust and managing relationships with multiple internal and external, cross-functional stakeholders, including in-country and global business leadersMeasuring and reporting progress against key program objectives to senior leaders, BASIC QUALIFICATION Bachelor s degree.15+ years of professional experience in roles requiring data analysis, program management, workflow improvement, creative problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.10+ years of people management experience.Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Expertise in data mining, data management and strong analytical aptitude.Experience working with partners and stakeholders to meet deliverable requirements.Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others.Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Demonstrated ability to credibly coordinate, schedule trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with technical teams and business stakeholders.Proven track record in the delivery of large scale complex cross-functional change projects.Decision Making and Complex Problem Solving; a system thinker who proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources to make the right decisions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master s degree or MBA Preferred.Experience of working in the area of Media Compliance.Experience and understanding of entertainment industry, digital media and/or digital video supply chain desired.Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.Understanding of media production process is a plus.A passion for digital media and digital video.
