We are Digital Engineering Team - the software center of excellence for Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are responsible for developing and delivering SaaS based applications and digital lab (Cloud-based) tools, to help scientists do their work more efficiently and with precision, enabling them to make our world healthier, cleaner and safer. Role Description

As a senior developer you will develop desktop and enterprise applications in the areas of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS). The ideal candidate will have extensive development experience in Microsoft Technologies. the .Net Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.


Responsible for ownership of multiple significant software modules.
Responsible for leading the integrity of technical work on significant concurrent projects.
Plans, participates and performs the technical work of an assignment.
Execute the implementation, automated unit and integration testing, debugging and integration of code of extreme complexity across multiple concurrent projects.
Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work.

Candidate Requirement:
Education & Experience levels:
Bachelors in Engineering/Computer Science or Master degree or equivalent with 4 + years of Experience in required technology

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:Proficiency in programming language - .Net, C#, javascript, CSS, HTML
Demonstrated experience with Distributed System implementations
Proven Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud
Proven Experience with integrating distributed computing environments with Cloud
Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services. Experience developing RESTful
Experience designing and documenting internal and external (commercial) APIs using API documentation frameworks (e.g. Apiary, Swagger)
Strong experience with TDD, BDD and end to end automation testing

Preferred skills:Experience in Angular is a plus
Experience with large-scale consumer-facing production software and cloud deployment strategies.
Experience with Scripting: bash, PowerShell
Working knowledge of Linux
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
Developing for compliance (e.g. 21 CFR 11, ISO 13485, ALCOA, Sarbanes-Oxley)
