Senior Yield Analytics Manager

Location SAN BRUNO, CA Career Area Data Science and Analytics Job Function - Employment Type Regular/Permanent Position Type Salary What you'll do at What you'll do We are seeking a Senior Yield Analytics Manager professional in our San Bruno, CA office. Duties Drive predictive time series analyses of advertising inventory data to produce inventory availability forecasts. Use multi-objective optimization techniques to help advertising Operations and Sales Teams balance inventory fill rates and revenue goals by creating product bundling and packaging strategies. Perform historical meta-analysis of advertising effectiveness to drive sales strategy and market positioning. Work cross-functionally with Operations and Sales Teams to drive the engagement of both users and clients. Retrieve and aggregate advertising and eCommerce transaction data into dashboards and summary statistics to communicate with leadership and surface any business risks about advertising performance and yield. Perform statistical analysis of advertising product performance to provide a data driven guide for future product decisions. Supervise 2 employees (2 Advanced Analytics Specialists). Minimum education and experience required Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 3 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR 5 years of experience in data analytics or related field. Skills required Experience using the R or Python programming language to conduct parametric analyses and build statistical models. Experience with statistical modeling techniques Predictive Modeling, Logistic Regression, Cluster Analysis, and Segmentation Analysis. Experience executing marketing analytics techniques advertising effectiveness analysis and media mix modeling. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical theory, hypothesis testing, and causal inference. Experience translating data into actionable insights. Experience manipulating data utilizing SQL. Experience with data visualization tools Tableau or Domo.
