We are looking for an IT Product Owner with strong technical and service management experience to lead and maximize the value of our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) IT solutions. With excellent communication and collaboration skills you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and benefits, define product requirements, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our user communities in the R&D domain.

Job Description
In your new role you will:
Process Optimization:Analyse existing processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains. Implement streamlined procedures to enhance productivity and quality of deliverables. Own the functional design and offers consulting
Product Management:Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing regular updates on product progress, changes, and upcoming features.
Stakeholder Engagement:Develop close working partnerships with stakeholders from within the dedicated area of business, fostering a product led mindset within the leadership teams.
Communication: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products that align with the company's overall goals and market trends. Foster collaboration and transparency to maintain alignment on project objectives and milestones such as accomplishments, key decisions and risks.
Delivery:Drive and foster a strong delivery mindset and culture within the agile teams, supporting the rapid delivery of business value through a test and learn approach. Ensures high quality deliverable in terms of post release defects.
Operations: Installation and distribution of application/software, incl. release & deployment management, versioning and upgrades. Proactively manage the license requirements of the tools under your care

You're a strategic thinker who drives product success of our application lifecycle solutions. You're a customer advocate who understands customer needs and collaborates with cross-functional teams. You possess technical expertise and are a data-driven decision maker who can analyze complex data. With excellent written and verbal communication skills you can balance competing demands and prioritize tasks based on business value and customer needs

A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field(Bachelor/Master).
7+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, IT operations management, project management, or a related role in the tech industry.
3+ years of experience in IT product ownership/business analysis in an agile setup.
Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in agile project management (e.g. Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence)
Hands-on experience with web applications, client-server architecture, code versioning tools (SVN, Bitbucket, GitLab), relational databases and application software development (Java, HTML/CSS, Javascript).
Good knowledge in software life-cycle and DevOps practices (Agile, CI/CD, TDD, …).
Strong understanding of system integration concepts and implementations using state-of-the-art technologies like event-driven architecture and REST APIs.
Experience with ALM solutions like Siemens Polarion would be an advantage.
