Job Description
In your new role you will:
Create and oversee design document packages, including schematic, billof materials, assembly instructions etc.
Create PCB layout design for power electronics involving multiple layers and using correct design practices and techniques for highfrequency switching power applications such as high density charger, AI datacenter DCDC, AC/DC, Solar Inverters supporting technologies likeGaN, SiC, MOSFET.
Perform Thermal, Impedance and parasitic analysis
Document modification and version control for various hardware design
Work closely with applications design teams to streamline thedesign workflowsand processes
Interact with the EDA tool vendors addressing tool issues, track theirprocessing and provide feedback about potential product improvements andenhancements
Test and evaluate new tool features, plugins, or extensions to determine their compatibility and usefulness for the organization
Contribute to the further-development of an integrated PCB design flowenabling schematic entry, PCB layout, component library management and product lifecycle management
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or comparable
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following PCB designtools: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro
Expertise to define, establish and maintainPCB design; familiaritywith component library management and product lifecycle management wouldbe beneficial
Knowledge inEDA tool environment setup; SKILL and Perl scriptingwould be an advantage
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skills
