As the Product Manager of HoneywellForge – Data Insight services, you will have end-to-end ownership of a comprehensive set of capabilities concerningdata integration, preperation, storage, processing, and analytic capabilitiesincluding modern AI/ML as well as traditional rules engines, BI, etc. Adiffereentiating aspect of Forge offerings is to provide valuable insight into enterpriseperformance by combining the IoT data streaming from the sensors in real time withstructured data from Enterprise Applications as well as unstructured,contextual data such as images, videos and documents. By utilizing the richdata platform capabilities, Honeywell Connected Enterprise teams apply their decadesof knowledge in domains such as Buidings, Industrial Plants and Aero to notjust derive valuable insights but also to drive operational efficiencies and optimizationsfor energy savings, etc., by controlling the assets autonomously. As theProduct Manager of the overall Forge Data Insight services, you will beresponsible to further enhance the capabilities and package them as aeasy-to-use service for Honeywell teams as well as partners / customers to quicklybuild, deploy and monetize insight-driven, differentiating offerings.
Your activities will be amix of outbound and inbound, business and technical, strategic and tacticalpursuits.
You will influence the deliveryroadmaps via fact-based prioritizations and provide guidance to the engineeringteams via clear documention of market requirements as user journeys, wireframesand properly scoped epics (Honeywell follows agile development methodology). Workingclosely with the sales and marketing teams, you will shape the sales enablement,positioning material and marketing plans. You will be the single point ofcontact representing the Forge Data Insight services in cross-team initiativesfor pricing, commercialization, partner ecosystem development and early adopterprograms.
Your close understandingof the open source and proprietary technologies in the Big Data, AI/ML, CloudComputing domains will help you easily connect with the engineering teams, drivebuild/buy decisions, confidently addreess technical questions in customer RFPs,prepare rich sales enablement material, shape Proof of Concept projects withearly adopters, etc.
You will interactregularly with senior leadership to keep them apprised of your product plans,risks, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Manage requirements for the Forge Data Insight services by working closely and regularly with stakeholder teams, customers and partners
Closely monitor gaps in the offerings and introduce differentiating capabilities
Drive product roadmaps based on market requirements as well as detailed understanding of Honeywell’s core competencies, technology strategy and ongoing commitments
Drive build-buy decisions within the organization and conduct licensing negotiations with third party vendors
Ensure alignment across teams to ensure secure, compliant and continuous delivery of the product capabilities in a cloud environment
Cross-team coordination for building Marketing Plans, Pricing, Product Deployment and Operations Planning
Enable Sales team with detailed technical specifications as well as high level product positioning material
Conduct strategic sessions, drive POC efforts, etc., and build long-term relationships with customers and partners
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors degree
5+ years of experience in Product Management organization of Cloud based enterprise software
10+ years of overall experience with in-depth exposure to cloud platform technologies, preferably in the AI/ML, Big Data domains
Proven track record of leading key product areas and driving market adoption in a profitable manner
