Senior Manager/Deputy Director Tapeout Infra & Apps

We are looking for a manager of Software Development who will be part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of software development, from initial specification and design, development, testing, and release, while growing a team within India Job Responsibilities Lead the team in design, develop and test software applications to support Tapeout Operations Ability to recruit and retain a high performing team Manage all the activities of the software development group Sets attainable goals to team members in order for the project to be finished on time Provides guidance and feedback to team members to encourage work productivity Makes sure the timeline is followed by the software development group Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings. Manages multiple projects at once Ensures appropriate procedures and processes are followed when it comes to the software development process Represents the software department in meetings Monitors, evaluates, and ensures the completion of tasks and projects Participates in other areas of the software development process Provides technical support to other company personnel. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs Required Qualifications Education - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject 5 years of software team management experience Track record of successful application development Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills Experience with testing and deployment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proven experience with relational databases, SQL, ORM technology, such as JPA Passion for best design and coding practices. 24 X 7 support Preferred Qualifications Experience with web development teams, using a Organizationern web framework such as react.js Knowledge of Java and J2EE running on JBOSS EAP 7.0 Experience developing RestFul services Agile development methodology Continuous integration within the Atlassian suite of tools Experience in Semiconductor Domain Experience with JMS and/or Apache Kafka
