Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible to independently manage & Execute HR and factory related compliance related to the Manufacturing Sites. This includes but is not limited to the following –

1. Maintains all statutory requirements related to the manufacturing plants and ensures strict adherence to the same.

2. Manages the statutory requirements of various Contractors and Agencies associated with the plant's manufacturing activities and the Business Units of RBIS.

3. Works closely with Plant Heads to resolve any day- to-day issues related to social compliances and enforce the statutory requirement as per law and brands.

4. Adhere to SOPs and maintain the standards to manage the social compliances and mitigate any risks involved in the process.

5. Design and successfully implement training programs for the plant employees on benefits and services.

6. Work cordially with all the stakeholders, Auditors and Brands /customers on compliances related issues. Take appropriate corrective measures and comply with CAP process.

7. Work closely with the Plant Head and other stakeholders to implement the long term strategy related to compliance in collaboration with all employees and Union.

8. Spearhead all the employee engagement initiatives and annual events.

9. Support all parts of the business on social Compliance matters to ensure effective management.

10. Follow the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.

11. Be part of managing the HR / Welfare related as per the statutory requirement

12. Independently liaison with Directorate of Factories, Labour authorities and other Government authorities from Compliance in the matters concerned.

13. Proactive audit services providers and the facilities extended to their employees in line with Contingent Workers SOP.

Qualifications

This position requires an understanding of the HR & IR processes, activities, status and goals of the company.

• Proficient in Verbal and Written Communication skills (English & Kannada language is must), with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel both internally and externally.

• Should have demonstrated strong behaviors in building trust and teamwork.

• Should be result & detailed oriented and have immaculate credentials on honesty & integrity.

• Ability to multitask and work under minimum supervision in a fast paced and agile manufacturing environment.

• Should have excellent interpersonal and execution skills.

• Should have worked in a matrix and a multicultural environment.

• Sound knowledge of Computer applications like all programs in MS Office.

• Should have sound knowledge of Labour Laws / Compliance and have strong Liaisoning skills with government authorities.

EDUCATION:

MBA / MSW with a major in HR / IR from a reputed university.

EXPERIENCE:

• Masters + minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in Human Resource / IR of a Manufacturing Industry;

• Must have proven success in the area of compliance and involved in Industrial Relations activities.
