Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive/Assistant Manager with
knowledge of both import and export
to join a leading logistics company in the Freight Forwarding division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer support, shipment coordination, and documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Support :
Provide excellent service to customers and stakeholders, addressing queries and ensuring smooth shipment handling.
Shipment Coordination:
Provide shipment quotes, set up shipments as per customer needs, and manage booking processes.
Documentation Handling:
Prepare and send required documents such as pre-alerts, manifests, arrival notices, and forwarding instructions.
Shipment Updates:
Keep customers informed about shipment status, onboard details, and any updates related to their cargo.
Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Email Correspondence:
Handle all shipment-related communication through email, ensuring clarity and timely responses.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Graduation or Equivalent.
3 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of both import and export processes.(Mandatory)
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and teams.
Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer queries and resolve shipment-related issues efficiently.
